There is a Woman

There is a Woman
By dan ankers

There is a woman, whom the world does not know

she is little and kind

and brave

There is a woman,

who I will call my wife someday (soon)

and for this very purpose, this world I would save

I love her so much that my heart cannot show it

the towers and volumes of treasures they gained

for so has her walk on this earth been so earnest, her toes have been blessed by the angels

and saved, from the ashes of civility's lost forgotten code, from whence God created the earth and left his children to roam, to the palaces where Kings of olden times remained,

thy very essence of goodness and love is ingrained

She, like a leaf from the treetops has fallen, so

fragile and kind

BUT.

Do not be duped

She's a wily one

And soon

like the moon

she will turn once again

to remind you of that unkind thing you said

or that thing that you dropped on the ground

but not like a harlot or a woman besot

NO. She will do it with kindness

She is woman's purest essence

refined thus

My Love for Marlyn

My Love for Marlyn a sin
A dream
If I can believe
My Queen across the sea
I’m in
She’s raging waters
I’m roaring tides
But together we just might make a really nice place to hide
A secret palace, just out past the tired moon
Where no one sees us
Where we can be discreet
And merge like a couple of loons
