Strong above all
in the history of womanhood
sending down wisdoms to toddlers of all ages
Erasing, every day, the histories of her own accomplishments
Writing upon that book instead
the happinesses of her children’s faces
Understanding is her softness
which applies to puppies as well as people
Those who know her want to be around her
Those who don’t, can’t see what’s missing
Truly, In this world today, women like her
are sorely lacking
The ingredients of Carrie’s heart and mind
are too numerous to rattle-off, in trivial succession here
So I’ll leave this poem by slinking out
Edit myself and disappear
