Boxed up. I'm locked up
Within a cage of my own making
Life is out there for the taking
And the giving
Precious living
Life is all we have ever known
"I'm underwhelmed."
"It's overblown."
Should not be a way of living life
Yet it's so easy to fall prey to the habit
Of wasting priceless days
And taking life for granted
Go find another planet
If you could build this better
Of course, I'm speaking only of myself...
My wasted days are bountiful and tragic
