He chuckles with glee, invariably, when I see him
No cares made of this world, to strain the sound
So, it's pristine joy, amplified over vocal chords
When I hear it
What a happy sound
I could never replicate

I think that I would feel like a mad man, if I could
Cause I'm an adult, and I forget how to truly laugh

The best thing I can do, is listen to him
Tell him a joke or two, and get him to grin
Maybe hear a belly laugh!
What a happy sound that its!
I could never replicate it
That time has passed

It's just incredible how the sound of one child's laughter
Can remind me of the joys built into life
That I should be searching after
