Change is in the air

Change in the air

If I have a major fault, it’s that i love change

even for the sake of it

this world i’d rearrange

And perhaps that wouldn’t be so bad

the going logic’s out of touch

and to really tell the truth

It’s never actually worked

Unless you hold with those who hold the reins

and even then

your time is almost up

Because

there is always another who’s come up

Change is always in the air

and then again

so is Stagnation

so side with those who give a damn

but be sure that they’re patient

thoughtful

and seek a constant truth

one that works and doesn’t hate

and works toward freedom for all

It’s really simple

though it’s absolutely complicated

like a person in their youth.
